Meet Gene
ene Maylock has been a photographer for over 20 years. He has a Bachelor
of Fine Arts degree, with a Business Minor, from The Pennsylvania State University. Over the years,
Gene has worked for several newspapers, universities, corporations, and magazines. He has
photographed hundreds of weddings and has been a photographer for two presidential campaigns.
If you, or someone you know, was in a marching band or drum corps, there is a chance that Gene was the photographer working for Jolesch Photography of Des Moines, Iowa.
Living in the central region of Pennsylvania, Gene has become accomplished in a vast array of photography skills. Gene was inducted into the Society of Professional Journalists by Ted Koppal in New York City for his photo journalism. He has also received the Gold Key Award from Columbia University in New York City, and the Mark of Excellence Award, from Sigma Delta Chi.
Gene has exhibited in several one man shows with work featuring Central Pennsylvania Horsemen and their horses. A second place ribbon was earned at the "Art Show At The Dog Show," in Kansas City, Missouri.
